Worship Leader
Basic Function:
The Worship Leader is responsible for planning, coordinating and leading Sunday morning worship.
Organizational Relationship:
The Worship Leader reports directly to the Pastor.
Specific Responsibilities:
- To be willing to work as a team member along with the pastor, leadership and musicians at First Baptist Church in the planning and leading of worship.
- Keep up to date with the physical and spiritual needs of those involved in the music ministry.
- Coordinate, recruit, and rehearse with all instrumentalists and vocalists as needed.
- Plan and present special worship and other special music programs as appropriate.
- Prepare annual music budget to be recommended.
- Stay current on relevant music and utilizing them where appropriate.
- Perform or assist in weddings or funerals as needed.
- Attend staff or committee meetings when appropriate.
Qualifications
- The ability to listen effectively and to communicate clearly, both orally and in written form
- Excellent speaking skills and the ability to speak confidently before groups
- Quality leadership skills
- Basic ability to use computer software as needed
- Commitment to biblical principles and teachings both professionally and personally
- Be physically able to properly perform duties
- Must pass background check

Salary: $200 per week plus reimbursable expenses

Youth Minister
Basic Function:
The Youth Minister is responsible for coordinating a comprehensive ministry involving students in Junior High and High School.
Organizational Relationship:
The Youth Minister reports directly to the Pastor.
Specific Responsibilities:
- To be willing to work as a team member along with the pastor, leadership and students at First Baptist Church.
- Attend all services of First Baptist Church
- Work with existing leadership in the leading, planning and carrying out of Sunday School.
- Work with existing leadership in the leading, planning and carrying out of Wednesday night activities.
- Attend youth camp as a sponsor.
- Maintain a personal contact with First Baptist students throughout the year.
- Work with existing leadership in planning and coordinating student outreach activities.
- Work with existing leadership in any other student activities that are planned, such as Bible studies, fellowships, and recreational activities.
- Each week should consist of a minimum of 10 work hours for the ministry of the church.
- Assist in other church activities as asked by the pastor.

- Cooperative: Willing to work within existing channels to carry out events.
- Responsible: To coordinate summer student activities and prepare for the events.
- Loving: Able to show Christian concern for all students while maintaining order and discipline.
